When the US Director of The National Institute of Allergy & Infectious Diseases, Dr Anthony Fauci grinned behind Donald Trump last month, at his suggestion the ‘Deep State’ were working against his Presidency, most people interpreted Fauci’s grin as a wry, derogatory grin followed by a ‘face-palm’ – behind his bosses back.

However there is another possible explanation. Because what if Fauci already knows as Trump does, that it was the Deep State that actually put the Trump regime into the Whitehouse in the first place? It might just be that during Trumps impromptu attempt at Machiavellian misdirection, Fauci couldn’t help himself with something known as ‘Duping Delight’ – a micro-aggression displayed by ‘Dark Triad’ types.

Time will tell but it’s entirely possible that Fauci was simply too obvious in holding what might have been a complicit give-away grin for just that few seconds too long…
