“If there was hope, it must lie in the proles, because only there, in those swarming disregarded masses, eighty-five percent of the population of Oceania, could the force to destroy the Party ever be generated”. Orwell, ‘1984’.

(18-20 minutes) There’s a lot of it about; the convenient cherrypicking of ‘1984’ and of very selectively acknowledging only those popularly accepted parts of Orwell’s imagination, which 73 years ago forewarned us of the fascist gaslighting propaganda narratives which are pervasive across global-western ‘democracies’ today.

This incredibly selective cherrypicking is particularly ‘fashionable’ amongst the blue-tick commentariat as well as those bloggers with significant following, who it would seem are uniformly preoccupied with maintaining peer-image, sustaining clicks, likes, shares and of course – safeguarding their income streams. And so it’s easier – and ‘comforting’ – to assume that those behind these Orwellian constructs must too be motivated solely by money. But that’s incorrect. Money and avaricious wealth are but a route to the true goal which is power; pure power.

“The Party seeks power entirely for its own sake. We are not interested in the good of others; we are interested solely in power, pure power. Power is not a means; it is an end. The object of persecution is persecution. The object of torture is torture. The object of power is power. Now you begin to understand me?” Orwell, ‘1984’.

This is why, in part, many ‘leading’ commentators take the popular path of least resistance to quote the more simplistic, straightforward and obvious of Orwell’s writings, but do so within the seemingly ‘safe’ but pyrrhic confines of social acceptance i.e. ‘within the safety the herd’. As such, by sub/consciously and cyclically self-censoring their own minds and writings, these ‘independent’ journalists not only blunt their ability for actual critical-thinking but most cripplingly of all, have abrogated themselves of that most basic, yet rarest of constructive qualities to be found in academics, politicians and ‘journalists’ today; curiosity.

“But the proles, if only they could somehow become conscious of their own strength, would have no need to conspire. They need only to rise up and shake themselves like a horse shaking off flies. If they chose they could blow the Party to pieces tomorrow morning. Surely sooner or later it must occur to them to do it”. Orwell, ‘1984’.

You see, in the absence of ‘permission’ being granted by other leading or respected, yet equally Ptolemaic centre-left commentators – or indeed because they’re still being led by the mass-psychosis, cattle-clamped nose by corrupt ‘left’, ‘right’ and ‘neutral’ public-facing actors posing as ‘journalists’ who are also members of The Party – the ‘independent’ citizen journalists, writers and bloggers who are allowed to get traction on ‘social’ media, inadvertently feed into the Orwellian construct that is our ‘flatscreen universe; cinematic, TV and tablet’.

“The real division is not between conservatives and revolutionaries but between authoritarians and libertarians”. Orwell

In doing so these genuine alternate media journalists actually contribute to and exacerbate the never-ending ‘Gasocracy’ to perpetuate time and again, the same gaslight-saturated cycles of old-fashioned identity-politics – also known as the so-called ‘culture wars’. All of which is a 1% driven class war construct fronted by their own corporate media cartel in ‘news’papers, online and most powerfully of all – by TV broadcast – including through subtle and subliminally weaponised ‘entertainment’, which is at its most destructive, powerful, invisibly pervasive and emotionally persuasive when it’s being fomented by film industry celebrities who are the ideological ‘outriders fuelling political divisions where there was once unity, and driving a totalitarian wedge between men and women to fragment societal cohesion as a whole.

“We have cut the links between child and parent, between man and man, and between man and woman. No one dares trust a wife or a child or a friend any longer”. Orwell, ‘1984’.

Whereas if we’d just expand our understanding a little further to see beyond our own comfort zone conditioned-biases, which themselves have been spoon-fed to us by State indoctrination and corporate media over the course of decades – including their narratives designed to shame us into complicit silence – we could cognitively process, acknowledge and accept the culturally inconvenient clues Orwell bequeathed us in ‘1984’.

“The sex instinct will be eradicated. We shall abolish the orgasm. Our neurologists are at work upon it now. There will be no loyalty, except loyalty towards the Party. There will be no love, except the love of Big Brother”. Orwell, ‘1984’.

And the sooner we can cease to self-censor our thoughts and perceptions, the sooner we can become unashamed to be ‘different’, to grow a thicker skin and become less sensitive to the very idea of being ridiculed by the unthinking – simply for seeing reality as Orwell saw It and in doing so, in shaking off this ‘shame’ – we can begin to communicate openly; an aspect which is so desperately needed to give individuals the collective confidence and self-belief to back themselves as I did in Berlin in 2017;

Video recorded on 25th June 2018, on the first anniversary of going to Berlin and warning the German Bundes Polizei & Irish Embassy on 250617, of the inevitable #ToryAnalytica coup d’etat militarisation of Brexit and the arrival of a US/UK-led global fascism;

“Being in a minority, even in a minority of one, did not make you mad. There was truth and there was untruth, and if you clung to the truth even against the whole world, you were not mad”. Orwell, ‘1984’.

We as individuals and a collective need to become emboldened enough to stand out from the crowd because no big political name or genuine centre-left ‘celebrity’ is going to ride to society’s rescue. Indeed, even as the propaganda tropes irretrievably unravel to the point of self-destruction, many in the American media and the ‘British’ big hitters too will still continue try to cherrypick-protect aspects of the construct which chime with their indoctrinated biases.

Plus they perceive themselves as having ‘more to lose’ than the ‘average Joe’ because they regard themselves as having a higher, more ‘responsible’ public station in life. And so it’s just easier, safer and comes with far less risk to their peer-image persona and individual brand, to ignore the unpopular, unprocessed parts of ‘1984’ and of course – to ignore ‘Gaslighting Gilligan’.

“In the face of pain, there are no heroes”. Orwell, ‘1984’

And whilst there is the very rare exception amongst genuine centre-left politicians who actually inspire, they too allow their light to be dulled; to be unduly influenced and corralled as part of the unthinking herd by the vast majority of their colleagues who are overwhelmingly uncharismatic, superficial, unimaginative and image-obsessed imposters who will only dare to put their heads above the parapet when the working masses begin to demonstrate a tangible and collective confidence in themselves.

In this regard, even our most authentic centre-left political ‘leaders’ will do what they’ve generally always done; read which way a wind is beginning to blow – then point its direction as a windsock would – just as the breeze is set to become a bluster.

Therefore the ‘great and good’ as a whole will only begin to be moved by the sheer weight of numbers before they’ll risk their precious reputations to publicly support ‘Gaslighting Gilligan’s’ fresh and fully functioning understanding of Orwell’s words – as told through his most prominent protagonists Winston Smith and O’Brien.

I’ll keep reinforcing the point; all it will take is a bit of much needed individual and collective self-belief by ordinary people“the proles” – to free ourselves from the ‘Active Measures’ media-projected prisons built within our own minds, in order that we can all begin to escape from this ‘left’ and ‘right’ totalitarian (the clue is the word itself) construct.

We’ve been enveloped within an orchestrated corporate-political or ‘Corpolitique’ construct which we ourselves are actually facilitating some five years after I first warned the German Bündes (Government) Polizei and Irish Embassy in Berlin, and began alerting people through ‘Gaslighting Gilligan’ – ‘A paradigm shift in the meaning of domestic abuse and the Atlantic Bridge to ‘1984’.

“Always there will be the intoxication of power, constantly increasing and constantly growing subtler. Always, at every moment, there will be the thrill of victory, the sensation of trampling on an enemy who is helpless. If you want a picture of the future, imagine a boot stamping on a human face – for ever”. Orwell, ‘1984’.

As such we are ‘voluntarily’ choosing to remain trapped in this living nightmare taking place on the very same global scale that Orwell predicted in ‘Airstrip One’ – Britain and Ireland; and across ‘Oceania’ in the US, Canada, Australia, New Zealand aka the ‘Five Eyes’ – as well as South Africa and South America…

“The war waged by the ruling group against its own subjects and its object is not the victory over either Eurasia or Eastasia, but to keep [each hierarchical] structure of society intact”. Orwell, ‘1984’.

…and where through the manipulation of language and thought to curtail not only the ability for free expression, but is designed to ‘imprison’ the human condition itself.

“But if thought corrupts language, language can also corrupt thought… Don’t you see that the whole aim of Newspeak is to narrow the range of thought? In the end we shall make thoughtcrime literally impossible, because there will be no words in which to express it”. Orwell, ‘1984’.

And it does so within each former colonial and current European sociocultural ‘experience’, which has been psychosocially engineered for entire populations to perceive themselves as all suddenly, ‘coincidentally’ and simultaneously, actually existing in the exact same dystopian and at times – dangerously absurd pseudo-reality. I mean honestly, who knew that 20th century fascism was deliberately orchestrated against millions of unwitting, ordinary Germans by a small clique of Nazi propagandists through the media of the day? Surely that shouldn’t come as a surprise to anyone anywhere in the world in the 21st century.

“Until they become conscious they will never rebel, and until after they have rebelled they cannot become conscious”. Orwell, ‘1984’.

But it’s all fabricated fairytale housed in the biggest lie sold to us since ‘Iraq WMD’. Only this time it’s designed to wage a forever war on humanity via the twice 20th century precedented mass emasculation, demonisation and dehumanisation of men.

Winston; “When will you shoot me?

O’Brien; “It might take a long time. But don’t give up hope. Everyone is cured sooner or later. And in the end, we shall shoot you”. Orwell, ‘1984’.

Young men and boys specifically, are being made guilt-shame susceptible to both State and societal subservience which is coercing them to prepare to ‘volunteer’ to pour their patriotic purpose, and to seek their austerity-skint self-respect and emasculated meaning in a military uniform – or indeed prison – if they fail to take the normalisation of militarisation, corporate camouflaged khaki bait hidden in plain view.

It’s a sort of #PrisonMilitaryIndustrialComplex that’s potential was – and still is – to be realised and tapped into upon Its mainland ‘Global Britain’-centric militarisation trigger (see ‘Op Fukuglaschu’ below) designed to work with ‘RAMPANT SEXISM’ pincering-propaganda war – aka the inescapable #MeToo construct – which is comprehensively mass guilt-shame recruiting men by a 21st century ‘white feather media’…

…and to mobilise literally millions of men needed across ‘Oceania’ in order that ‘The Party’ with their brand of ‘INGSOC’ totalitarianism can initiate then sustain the Anglo-Imperial, US/UK-led forever global-fascism Orwell so accurately predicted;

”If you’re a man, you’re the last man. Your kind is extinct. We are the inheritors. Do you understand that you’re alone? You are outside of history. You unexist”. Orwell, ‘1984’

“When we can cut man from his own past, then we can cut him from his family, his children, other men. There is no loyalty, except loyalty to The Party”. Orwell, ‘1984’.

“Power is in tearing human minds to pieces and putting them together again in shapes of your own choosing”. Orwell, ‘1984’.

“The most powerful form of lie is the omission”. Orwell, ‘1984’.

“We control life. At all levels. We create human nature. Men are infinitely malleable”. Orwell, ‘1984’.

“The war waged by the ruling group against its own subjects and its object is not the victory over either Eurasia or Eastasia, but to keep [each hierarchical] structure of society intact”. Orwell, ‘1984’.

“One does not establish a dictatorship in order to safeguard a revolution; one *MAKES THE REVOLUTION* in order to establish a dictatorship”. Orwell, ‘1984’.

“Doublethink means the power of holding two contradictory beliefs in one’s mind simultaneously and accepting both of them as true”. Orwell, ‘1984’.

So please people – back yourselves. Back each other and yes, back ‘Gaslighting Gilligan’. Because our current mass navel-gazing is slowly killing us, with the inevitable Orwellian future awaiting us if we don’t speak up – is quite literally going to be hell on Earth – again…
