Edward Bernays, nephew of Sigmund Freud and ‘Father of Public Relations’ made the above statement in his 1928 book ‘Propaganda‘.

Think about it; 1928 – just over a decade before the outbreak of WWII during the build-up to which, Goebbels used Bernays works to foment fascist feelings from within the Nazi propaganda machine.

But the information machine couldn’t possibly work in isolation. It had to be a living, felt experience and so was made so in conjunction with ‘Government’ legislation, policy and practices to create a manufactured #HostileEnvironment. Sound familiar?

An environment which given the abundance of evidence we’ve largely failed to process (due to individual & collective cognitive dissonance) over the last decade, tells us the circumstances back then couldn’t have been too dissimilar from that experienced today.

It’s just that untaught elements of the fascist past were simply made more imperceptibly ambitious – on a scale equitable and proportionate to joined-up Anglosphere global communications-sealed ‘Government’.

That’s the hard bit to get your head around. But if you can accept the Nazi’s fooled an entire, central European country into fascism during the late 1920’s and into the 1930’s – barely just over a decade after the first mass slaughter – WWI – it shouldn’t be too difficult to make the leap, that almost a hundred years later – and after the second-half – WWII – we’re there back again. Only this time for Act III, fascism is predominantly speaking English. Globally.

So with the benefit of recent-ish history, of hindsight; why is it we’re still collectively failing to tackle the recorded lessons of the past? Well, in part, because of our ‘plastic’ #PatrioticProgramming that teaches us that we couldn’t possibly become the very thing we defeated twice in the 20th Century: tyranny…

Working class poor English Tories and poverty-stricken Scots/Welsh & Irish Unionists (of all political colours) don’t so much believe in Boris Johnson & his ‘One Nation’ spin, but rather they need to feel they have an element, any grasping semblance of control, empowerment and belief-affirmation in #ToryAnalytica’s austerity-apartheid, mass-deprivation & depression induced ‘Great Britain’ – otherwise, what was the point of it all? Well, in a nutshell, your destruction.

Because perversely, this manipulated emotionalised-empowerment has to be, can only be self-defeating for these right-wing working masses, if it is to pyrrhic-fit in accordance with their lifelong, pre/adolescent, limbic-brain plastic-patriotic conditioning.

A cannon-fodder conveyor-belt conditioning which has always been present but which over the last decade has been made ever more ‘normalisation of militarisation’ concentrated, to appeal to doting patriotic parents and enticing, grooming their most precious cargo – children – of an ever younger audience of cyclical-generational, profitable human commodity capital who are predestined to meet with joint UK & US elite-estate manufactured crisis-capitalism…

And so for many of these financially-poor, working class Tories (& Brexiteers) the only way they can delude themselves into believing they’re ‘informed’ and being able to avoid embarrassment, argument and demonstrate to their peers that they’re politically ‘savvy’, capable of having their ‘own’ (they aren’t) tabloid-reinforced and validated opinions, is by Dunning-Kruger digging their angry &/or habitual heels into this face-saving yet self-destructive, cyclically-reinforced, cradle-to-grave, brainwashed British ‘values’ bias-confirmation existence.

However it’s a faked-reality housed in a collective ego-defence mechanism and the status quo ‘safety’ of the established herd – which paradoxically, is using this same ‘British belonging’ – to destroy them.

It’s all an ideological invention. A centuries-old carbon-copy of Rome’s resource consuming, culture-subsuming pseudo-reality existence now steeped in the ‘Great’ British Groundhog Day; the ego-defence mechanism driven, State schooled cyclical self-righteous status quo ‘safety & security’ of the effete-elites’ Establishment, which again paradoxically is using this very same hypocritical sense of superiority-exceptionalism; this ideological, ingratiating, sycophantic fraud backed by a military-forced ‘fake-ID’, that will also destroy those most toxically taken-in by ‘It’ and its plastic empowerment…’

Yes, ‘Great Britain’, like its name, is a manufactured phantom ‘country’. It’s already an “Ignorance is Strength” Orwellian State steeped in ongoing #Gleichschaltung-erased bloodshed and bribery which today takes place respectively via Government policies & practices, mind numbing constitutional-Monarch gifts such as MBE’s & OBE’s etc and of course blackmail both north and south of the border.

As such ‘Britishness’ can only be held together by the Etonian elite-saturated State structures; by their interlocking, padlocked chains of corruption arc-welded by myriad variables of invisibly-reinforced ‘One Nation’ TV-title tropes; such as The Great British Brainwash propaganda experience that was originally force fed by starvation and with the ‘lesser’ cultures erased by ethnic cleansing.

All of which has resulted in this ideological invention, this corporate-political imposter that at some point during the 18th century snuck into a world that too, is still held captive by a lethal live-firing fairytale; with the entire globe and its leaders, some bought (of course) but many simply beguiled as ‘children‘ by a red, white & blue Brothers Grimm book of arbitrary, ‘British’ recycled ‘too-good-to-be-true’, rote-scripted ‘stoic-victimhood’ fallacies.

It’s a fabrication of a ‘country‘ that’s not only structurally “flagrantly artificial” [Orwell] its brittle foundations are built on a series of ongoing shoogly-peg stories about a regime always ‘wronged’ – as it colonised a quarter of the entire planets’ population by psychological manipulation and military force – but is also propaganda steeped in normalised ‘British values‘ messaging; as if morality, humanity, compassion and diversity etc were somehow the ‘unique’, sole-preserve of ‘Britishness‘, when in fact quite evidently, the #HostileEnvironment…

…has always been the cyclical reality and lived-experience for many working class sections of the perennial, British-aristocrat led class-war; a normalised, invisible war ideologically-necessary if our ‘betters’ are to maintain their fraudulent privilege and physically-forced power, positioned at the top end of their artificial, hierarchical structure…

And that’s the tragedy. The working classes have given themselves over to, or more accurately were taken by a capricious elite, initially in childhood, to be a normalised part of this empowering herd.

And so the boastfully British working poor literally feel they can have no conscious choice in the matter but to destroy themselves – just so long as they get to destroy ‘the other‘ – driven as they are by associative-power but entirely plastic, patriotic programming. It’s especially tragic for those in their twilight years who will see out the rest of their days still living in the perennial, gaslighting-propaganda normalised ‘Great‘ British bunker-mentality.

However it’s in this way we can also ‘read them’ and their emotional motivators to help them – as they can of course read and help themselves to step back from the ‘Britification’ brink – if seen through the prism of #GaslightingGilligan.

Because the ‘UK’ working-poor population has been propaganda programmed as Bernays ‘regimented masses‘, with an irrational fear and hatred of – and superior-entitlement over ‘the other’.

Like it or not, acknowledge it or not, xenophobia, racism and bigotry are also ‘British values‘ in urgent need of experiencing a series of reflective admissions that will lead to a consciously collective Vergangenheitsbewaltigung (overcoming the past) process, and a mass-realisation that these ‘patriots’ have actually been taken for a ride, fooled into fascism (before ‘It’ was catastrophically interrupted in Berlin on 25th June 2017).

However getting to this reflection period will be a difficult ask given that a series of extremely uncomfortable, domestic and global cyclical-carnage truths – at the roots of which are the British (and US) Establishment, with every genocidal episode ever committed kicked into the long-grass or silenced in the name of ‘National Security’ – bringing with them, their associated fallout-retribution which the human condition will demand.

And so all of ‘It‘ will need to take place before the dust can begin to settle on a lasting peace – having learned to look inward and upward at the powerful, profiteer-proponents of war, rather than outwardly and horizontally across society to apportion blame on the already powerless…

As such, the very same ‘British’ people who were (are) being set-up to be put down by their own ‘Government’ via a #BlackSwan event and the mainland Britain militarising ‘Op Yellowhammer‘, will initially at least, remain steeped in their subconscious, fomented feeling of stoic-victimhood. And as such will evoke the ultimately fake emotional-behavioural ‘righteous empowerment’ that comes of their #GaslightingGilligan ‘superiority-persecution complex’ conditioning, to compel them to protect the very same elite and their structures who are still trying to destroy democracy and usher in a tyrannical dictatorship on the back of their already decades long “perfect dictatorship”.

Why? Because many of the working poor will find it far more familiar, comforting and empowering; “the mechanism and motives of the group mind” [Bernays] to chest-puffing proud remain in the herd; to stay [un]‘safe‘ within the WWI & WWII indoctrinated Anglo-centric identity.

A Churchillian identity housed in an inseparable association; a pre/adolescent psychosocial-engineered, emotionally-manipulated fake-patriotism tied by the mass psychosis nose to a mock-democracy, with only one UK political party in a FPTP two-horse race guaranteed to be the sub/conscious home of British Conservatism, ‘naturally’ aligned with the military, Monarchy and an ideologically-manufactured flag – overdue its 51st State Trident refit and microwave oven-ready to be re-homed by ‘Special Relationship‘ propaganda and militarisation pretext…

…than having to come to terms with the inevitable awakening; that their ideology, their entire identity, their very British ‘being’ has all along been the same resource-siphoning recycled-lie; part of a sustained corporate-political propaganda construct that was (is) priming the manufactured ‘British‘ State to become the very tyranny we supposedly defeated in WWII and to become Orwell’s predicted #AirstripOne fascist-vassal #UKPoliceState to the #TrumpPutin Presidency, in order our #ToryAnalytica elite can align themselves with US military power; global and domestic (as detailed in the main #PatrioticProgramming piece below).
