An Open Message To British Military (& Police) Personnel: Tennyson, Arendt, Blackadder, The #BrexitCoup & You – ‘The Thinking Soldiers Checklist’. (If you’re not inclined to do much reading, go straight to the checklist near the end of this piece).

As a 25 years served, ex-British soldier myself (Royal Signals Warrant Officer II) with tours of Iraq and Bosnia, now observing the cyclical prospect of yet another oil-war requiring hundreds of thousands of men, or perhaps as Admiral West (Retd) has already observed;

“Invading Iran, taking it over and then coercing it into becoming a different sort of country would take a million men”. Fmr Royal Navy First Sea Lord, Admiral West – 20th May 2019.

…you – (the average Squaddie) – the “million [Commonwealth] men” and the general public – your countrymen and women – are already being media manipulated, to be re-fed into the cannon-fodder conveyor-belt in preparation to illegally invade yet another oil-laden ‘enemy’, this time Iran and in doing so, to unjustifiably kill hundreds of thousands of innocent civilians – just as we Groundhog Day did in Iraq in 2003 – without a UN mandate – using a similar ‘WMD’ pretext, for the exact same purpose – the illegal acquisition of oil.

However this isn’t principally about the impending attempt to invade Iran. This is about your inevitable deployment onto the streets of mainland Britain, supposedly to ‘support’ democracy when in fact you’re going to be used to overthrow it.

Think about it;

‘Any ‘democratic’ decision that needs to be enforced or ‘supported’ by a Government deployment of the military, in order it can maintain and secure political power via the streets, ports & infrastructure etc, is in fact in any conventional, consistent, rational-thinking and functioning democracy – a coup d’etat’. ‘Brexit: All Roads Lead to Rome’ (2018)

Yes, a collective karma is about to bite us all on the arse – which you will be ordered to carry out – at the behest of very same capriciously ‘patriotic’, ‘Atlantic Bridge’ elite-estate who have been sending us to these cyclical oil-wars for their own profit, whilst simultaneously engineering the mass removal of dignity through policy-driven poverty called ‘austerity’, designed to create a socioeconomic apartheid fomenting mass deprivation and depression – here in UK – all of which just needs its ‘spark’. And you – the Squaddie – are the fuel to the spark.

Which is why I’ve created ‘The Thinking Soldiers Checklist’ with nearly forty incremental steps to help prevent you becoming the fuel; to mitigate you being hung out to dry by the Chain of Command and politicians, when the failing, #ToryAnalytica #BrexitCoup d’etat finally falls flat on its Etonian-led (farcical!) face.

And as our chickens come home to roost here in the UK (&US) domestically – I’m reminded of Tennyson’s poem ‘Charge of The Light Brigade’ in relation to the soldiers mindset;

“Theirs is not to reason why, theirs is but to do and die”.

…which itself came about because “Someone had blundered” to result in the suicidal charge;

“Cannon to right of them, Cannon to left of them, Cannon in front of them, Volleyed and thundered;

Stormed at with shot and shell, Boldly they rode and well, Into the jaws of Death, Into the mouth of hell, Rode the six hundred”.

Though the disastrous deed itself took place during The Crimea War in 1854, the Tennyson ‘tenet’ has since been tweaked and spoken aloud by serving soldiers themselves – as did I;

And this rote-conditioned soldiers creed, passed down from generation to generation since The Battle of Balaclava in the mid-19th Century, has, if the prevailing culture is to be believed, largely held true.

I say ‘largely held true’ because there have been exceptions in the past, particularly during WWI, when soldiers on both sides took it upon themselves to cease-fire and disobeyed immoral orders that required nothing more than the mutually assured stalemate-slaughter of each other.

The football game that took place between British and German soldiers on no-mans-land in on Christmas Day 1914, is undoubtedly the most famous, even corporate romanticised incident whereby working class men on both sides chose to communicate and down their weapons in order to temporarily rediscover their humanity, taking brief respite from the daily battlefield bloodletting.

Let’s face it, who could blame these men for taking matters into their own hands having borne witness to normalised daily carnage?

Men who after all propaganda-believed each other were less than human…

…but were in fact each dying for their respective branch of the same dynastic Monarchy, with each Royal cousin determined to assert control over a certain, profitable resource (didn’t teach us that in State school did they?) that the Kaiser had intended importing directly into Berlin from Baghdad. Sound familiar?

So ‘Tommy’ and ‘Fritz’ basically took a ‘time-out’ from the slaughter happening on an industrial scale, the likes of which the world had never seen, as it began in earnest on 22nd August 1914 for the French, with the mass-slaughter of 27,000 of their men – within 24 hours. And which as this piece linked here states;

‘It remains France’s highest ever death toll in a single day, despite being followed by four years of brutal and bloody conflict. As many French lives were lost on August 22, 1914, as during the entire Algerian War, fought between 1954 and 1962’.

Interestingly the piece also talks about this particular industrial-death toll incident, all but having disappeared from the French national consciousness, perhaps because also, this particular truth would be potentially harmful to ongoing military recruitment interests.

But similarly from the British viewpoint there are also numerous, deliberately hidden examples of our own soldiers not only (re)discovering their humanity in war but discovering too, that they had far more in common with the working class German ‘enemy’ in the trenches in front of them, than they did with their senior British officers behind them, cyclically sending them all to their collective slaughter;

‘The experience of tacit co-operation came as a reality shock to combatants. It demonstrated to each side that the other was not the implacably hostile and violent creature of the official [propaganda] image… The institutionally prescribed and dichotomous WE and THEY dissolved. The WE now included the enemy as the fellow sufferer. The THEY became the staff [officers]’.

…and as explained in detail in this piece ‘Why Blackadder Could Have Been A Lot Funnier’, soldiers on both sides found creative ways to actively avoid slaughtering each other by developing a blanket ‘Live and Let Live’ accord, amongst the trenches;

‘The ‘Live and Let Live’ principle was an informal and collective agreement between front-line soldiers of opposing armies to inhibit offensive activity to a level mutually defined as tolerable’.

…and resulted in even more hidden history which the Establishment elite-estate have always had a vested interest in, and indeed have gone to great lengths in the name of the State (meaning the elite-estate themselves), to erase altogether in our pre/adolescent teachings – until very recently to capitalise on the emotionalism-patriotism value – the 20,000 British soldiers killed in a single day on 1st July 1916 but to continue to outright erase altogether the;

‘Mass refusals, disobedience, mutinies, strikes and out-right rebellion [which] were all part of the British armed forces experience in WWI. These were all fairly explicit events and to a certain extent these hidden narratives are becoming part of the historical record despite the attempts of contemporary military censors and government ‘D’ notices on the press, as well as the 100 year rule in suppressing military documents’.

You see thankfully, even soldiers have their limits. In fact they must. Despite common misconception held by the majority of civilians, soldiers do possess the capacity for free, autonomous thought and ability to moderate and self-regulate their subsequent behaviours.

Indeed, soldiers must be able to think for themselves and self-police their behaviours – as that’s what separates professional soldiers from mercenaries and ‘terrorists’ right?

However conversely, on the occasions soldiers do fail to separate themselves from acts of terror, they must be seen to be held responsible and transparently accountable for their actions – regardless of rank; Commissioned and Non-Commissioned Officers right down to the Private ranks.

And so my message specifically to those currently serving in the British Armed Forces (and to their family & friends to pass this on) from a former soldier who served from 1985-2011, is this;

You are about to receive illegal and immoral orders because as sure as a bear shits in the woods, you are to be deployed onto the streets of mainland Britain under a manufactured, militarisation pretext that will be visited on the working masses of this island.

The intent is to deliberately destabilise society itself in order the ‘Government’ playing the dual-roles of both arsonist and firefighter can drive a dictatorship under the guise of merely ‘re-establishing’ law and order.

In short, the Government create the problem themselves, then sell society the ‘solution’ for our ‘safety’, with the price costing us our democracy. It’s nothing more than a militarised-State patriotic ‘protection’ racket.

Make no mistake, whatever form this pretext takes, you’ll go from being ‘Our Heroes’ helping society, safeguarding food and medicine supplies, to ‘Our Boys’ left with little choice but to use batons and rubber bullets on the ‘mob’ – until eventually – you’re ordered to determine our collective working class fate; civilian, police & soldiers alike – as well as the fate of democracy itself – at the end of your 5.56 rifle.

There are a number of Machiavellian guises that can be initiated by Boris Johnson’s COBRA Cabinet that will (attempt to) get armed soldiers onto the streets. However, if the Government’s ‘solution’ is sold to us via a complicit media, as merely being ‘Military Aid to the Civil Powers’ (MACP) to simply ‘assist’ with Brexit – it’s a ruse. It’s utter bollocks.

So think on. Because under such manufactured circumstances, ‘MACP’ is in fact the precursor to Martial Law; to the abuse of power, to curfews, to arrests without trial, to internment, to the continued media manipulation of minds that was (is) manufacturing fascism; yet has already failed in its first attempt and has since failed too in a number of protracted, ‘PlanB’ panicked attempts to (re)establish control over their agenda. They won’t.

You see the original failure is the reason why we’ve been able to make sense of the suicidal absurdity of cutting ourselves off from the biggest – and our nearest – trading bloc on the planet – just to hand our #ToryAnalytica asset-stripped, debt-ridden island over to their own #TrumpRussia puppet Presidency as the US 51st State – or as Orwell called it – ‘Airstrip One’. And which for the more discerning amongst you, lays the solution to sustaining the initial British deployment, with US political and military ‘assistance’ upon UK COBRA Cabinet request…

Think on about how it is you’re going to react to such an illegal order that militarises ‘democracy’ on mainland Britain; that attempts to coerce you into being complicit in the inevitable (attempted) military occupation of our streets.

Ultimately however, because this protracted failing coup has been taking place under the inescapable scrutiny of not only the UK public but the entire, highly suspicious world, it will eventually fail altogether and when it does, make sure you haven’t let yourself be set up as #BrexitCoup clusterfuck collateral.

Because ultimately too – just as with corrupt politicians and media, so too military personnel – you – will also be held accountable for your actions.

Which is why I’ve written this piece for all military ranks, however with ‘The Thinking Soldiers Checklist’ (below) specifically aimed at the rank and file; at the Private & Junior Non-Commissioned Officers; to help you, to safeguard you from your military indoctrination and help mitigate in advance, the effects of the inevitable peer-pressure; from the SNCO screaming in your face that will undoubtedly come from some Commissioned Officers too – but who when the dust finally settles – will hang you out to dry. (You know they will).

So don’t cave in. Stick together in numbers with your heads held high over the screaming, over the shaming and shouting as the flecks of the enraged SSgt’s spit hit your face. Because whatever they threaten you with in that moment, it will evaporate into obscurity literally within days.

So let your immediate Chain of Command accuse and threaten you with everything and anything from cowardice to MCTC Colchester, until they’re blue in the face.

Because by being brave enough to disobey them – not only will you be preserving lives on the streets, you’ll simultaneously be enabling the SNCO’s, Commissioned Officers and their pinstriped-fascist political bosses, to have their day in The Hague – not you – for their part in the failing coup which is still determined to claim a few thousand UK civilians (like these examples here and here) some of whom might be your own family and friends killed by your own colleagues elsewhere in the UK.

Whereas if you do buckle, the consequences will last the rest of your life, remembered as the solitary, isolated ex-soldier standing alone in the defence dock, in a civilian suit and tie, relying on the Nuremberg ‘defence’ of “I was only following orders”, outlined in this dramatisation of philosopher Hannah Arendt speech, specifically regarding Adolf Eichmann – the architect of ‘The Final Solution‘ and Nazism;

“Eichmann utterly surrendered that single-most human defining quality: that of being able to think. And consequently he was no longer capable of making moral judgements. This inability to think created the possibility for many ordinary men to commit evil deeds on a gigantic scale, the likes of which had never been seen before… And I hope that ‘thinking’ gives people the strength to prevent catastrophes in these rare moments when the chips are down”. Hannah Arendt

Because those futile words; “I was only following orders” – will echo and reverberate as resoundingly in your own head, just as it will around the walls of a War Crimes court – possibly The Hague.

In fact the only thing that will be heard as you parrot those words will be the wholesale, heavy, despondent and resigned sighs of incredulity from the ‘time-travelling’ witnesses in the gallery staring in disbelief, as they hear the very same ‘defence’ that was employed by defeated Nazi’s some 75 years ago. (By the way, the ‘Better to be tried by twelve than carried by six’ adage won’t wash either).

Which is why the purpose of the checklist is to ensure this scenario can never happen to you – by thinking. You see, your individual accountability will begin long before you are deployed onto the streets of this island, which will be made to mission creep ‘normalised‘ to the point where you are ordered to turn your weapons on unarmed civilians who in case you forget, are in fact your compatriots.

And if you’re not going to protect your own, then who and what is it you are protecting? The answer to that is simple; avarice-wealth and corrupt power.

A corrupt power that’s in the process of being exposed – such as the Prime Minister himself burying the cross-party Parliamentary report into his very own complicity in Russian interference in the 2016 Brexit referendum itself. And the Metropolitan Police and National Crime Agency’s constipated cluster-fuck calling itself an ‘investigation’, into the highly-profitable irregularities and illegalities as detailed in this article that were employed between US, UK and Russian elite relationships-interests – used to defeat democracy;

‘Currently, an £8.3 BILLION ‘shorting’ profit is set to be made by hedge funds linked to Boris Johnson & his Vote Leave campaign managed by Dominic Cummings (via @bylinetimes). It’s a profit that specifically requires UK society to collapse i.e. a deliberately engineered, ‘disaster-capitalism’, pound-crashing ‘No Deal’ Brexit. #GaslightingGilligan

And so having put my ‘time in’ as it were – having been in our shared affinity shoes for just over 25 years, I hope each and every individual soldier out there, for your own sakes, will take my advice to take the initiative just as our WWI ‘Tommies’ did and emulate them, to safeguard your own and our collective welfare in order to protect the masses from corrupt power shaping society to suit its own ends;

And most certainly, take the future of democracy on this increasingly isolationist island far more seriously than the archaic ‘Oath of Allegiance’, for which many of us were emotionally primed in our childhood to take, and manipulated to be more susceptible to (sub)conscious ‘channelling’ by our ‘#PatrioticProgramming, from Toddler to Teenager to Tabloidhood’…

…with the subsequent patriotic pre/adolescent limbic-brainwashing…

…deployed by the effete elite, who in order to maintain their centuries-old order, must also routinely create the ideological divide and rule #PatrioticPovery conditions they need to maintain the hierarchy at the working masses socioeconomic, psychological and emotional experience expense…

…that also keeps us cyclically separated from our logical, cognitive thought processing through all manner of emotional (recruitment) propaganda guises, such at that detailed here in #WeaponisedWaterfalls…

– as the elite on their entitled pedestal, deliberately shit-stir society an attempt to turn we working masses against each other, through Government #HostileEnvironment policies…

All of which was (is) during this penultimate (delayed, Clyde based) lead-up to their deliberate triggering of a preplanned, one-sided ‘revolution’ attempting to foment a full-scale, working class ‘blue-on-blue’; more commonly known as ‘civil-war’.

This is why you must all between you beforehand, before the (attempted) deployment, find creative ways that ensure that you and innocent civilians can ‘Live and Let Live’, through creative-avenues that navigate around the very corrupt Government, the very same elite-estate that are going to attempt to send you into harms way onto our streets, to force their failing coup d’etat – so that they could consolidate their own archaic political privilege and power – aligned with US global-military might – for a truly global-fascist contagion.

So for all our sakes, process that I’m trying to help you to maintain your humanity; to keep your conscience clear but most importantly – to keep you free – to live out the rest of your life in peace – without being dragged through the courts and ultimately – imprisoned.

Because your individual and collective Unit accountability will begin the very moment you receive a Warning Order, or indeed are ‘Crashed Out’ in a flurry of confusion, with the #ToryAnalytica intention to be deployed onto the streets.

And everything subsequent to this order is your individual, conscious choice to support – or not – this failing Government coup d’etat; a ‘Government’ which is in fact an elective dictatorship attempting to drive us into an unabashed, fascist dictatorship.

So why is this your individual conscious choice? Well in a nutshell, because we no longer live in the 19th fucking century. We no longer live in a time when ‘ours is not to reason why’.

In fact ‘Mission Command’ requires you to ‘reason why’ and to align your Main Effort with two levels of your immediate Command above – should the situation change. Right?

Well, the situation has changed – not only because you’re reading this but because you’re about to experience for yourself – exactly what it is I’m warning you of; you ARE to be ordered onto the streets.

And so if any elements of your Command structure order you to do this, or at any stage even vaguely infer that’s it’s down to your individual interpretation, or even if you suspect that they are about to expose you to scenario that could conceivably put you in a position that might require you to use lethal force against civilians, including firing live rounds, ask them to repeat it and record it on your phones – as evidence.

Because these will be illegal orders under any circumstances. Why? Because as I’ve already stated; in a functioning, legal and legitimate democracy you shouldn’t even be on the streets in the first fucking place. (And for anyone about to claim Northern Ireland is a ‘democracy’. Seriously?!)

If you receive such illegal and immoral orders, disobey them. Stay strong. Because if you don’t stay strong, if you crack and cave-in, the sound of loudest SNCO’s shouting in your ear will be drowned out by the screams of innocent civilians indelibly imprinted on your mind forever.

So for the checklist we’re going to backtrack through a series of over thirty incremental steps – that could never occur in a true democracy – so that you can process each and every individual one of them, again, in advance, in order you (as will a Criminal Court) can determine where your individual accountability actually begins…

The Thinking Soldiers Checklist

Your accountability will begin the moment you receive and respond to a Warning Order (or even a Crash-Out scenario) to deploy onto UK-domestic streets, under the guise of ‘assisting’ local authorities with ‘Brexit’ or ideologically related pretext – as a direct, deliberate, predetermined design consequence to drive a dictatorship by military force.

As such from that moment you receive these order(s), you will be held accountable for your individual, conscious actions at each subsequent step;

1. The moment you’re ordered to parade outside the armoury – and you obey that order.

2. When you come to attention at your name being called out on the nominal roll.

3. When you’re ordered into the armoury to draw your personal weapon – and you obey that order.

4. When you choose to sign for your personal weapon.

5. When the SQMS/CQMS hands you your personal weapon – and you accept it.

6. When you cock your weapon and carry out your SOP safety checks.

7. When you fit your sling to your rifle and place it on your person.

8. When you’re issued with baton rounds and/or live ammunition – and you accept it.

9. When you’re ordered to charge all four of your standard-issue magazines with up to 30 live rounds each – and choose to do so.

10. When you place these magazines into your webbing ammo pouches.

11. When you’re ordered to get into a vehicle to deploy.

12. When you actually choose to get into the vehicle.

13. When you allow yourself to be driven out of the camp gates.

14. When you’re ordered to debuss from the vehicle.

15. When you choose to disembark the vehicle.

16. When you’re ordered to parade in three ranks again to receive updated orders.

17. When you choose to get into one of those ranks and choose to follow the updated orders…

You will be held accountable during those moments you carry out a series of orders marshalling crowds of innocent, confused, hungry and desperate people. And most certainly throughout the moments when you and your Chain of Command can begin see the signs of civil unrest, with the shit about to hit the fan (arsonist & firefighter remember? That’s the point).

18. When you’re ordered to line-up in single file and face a wall in some random UK High Street or side street.

19. When you choose to face the wall.

20. When you’re ordered to point your individual weapon at the wall.

21. When you choose to point your weapon at the wall.

22. That moment you anticipate the next order to load your weapon and undo your ammo pouch, placing your left thumb and index finger inside to feel the first live round at the top of the magazine.

23. When you’re actually ordered “With a magazine of ‘X’ live rounds – load!”

24. When you choose to remove the first magazine from your ammo pouch.

25. When you feel the additional, unusual ‘forward’ weight of a magazine loaded with live rounds.

26. When you choose to load your rifle with the magazine of live rounds.

27. When you’re ordered to “Make Ready!”

28. That moment you visually check your safety catch on and physically confirm with your left thumb it’s fully recessed.

29. That moment you then grasp the cocking handle between your left thumb and forefinger.

30. That moment you cock the working parts to the rear.

31. That moment you release the cocking-handle.

32. That moment you feel and hear the distinct clumsy, ‘sluggish-clunk’ of the bolt-carrier picking up a live round and feeding it into the chamber.

33. That moment you ‘forward assist’ the cocking handle to ensure the live round is fully engaged in the chamber.

34. That moment you’re ordered to ‘defend’ a piece of property and its contents; which is itself the pretext to get you facing the crowd and your rifle pointed towards them.

35. That moment you choose to point your rifle into the crowd – even just to ‘use your SUSAT’ scope.

Then when someone from within the crowd lashes out because as far they’re concerned some power-crazy cunt hiding behind a uniform just baited the very people he’s supposedly protecting – by aiming his rifle directly them from just a few metres away…

36. That moment you or someone in your unit panics.

37. That moment the first innocent civilian is slotted and then it really begins to kick off.

38. That moment – just as you too push your safety catch off, to hear and feel its click with your right forefinger – you begin to wish you’d really taken this checklist on board and refused to leave barracks in the first place.

Because it’s in this moment moving forward – with you reading this right now – that the rest of your own life-choices will begin to end – because you failed to process that a militarised ‘democracy’, ceases to be a democracy at all.

Or, you can choose to think clearly, think logically – minus emotion – in order to ensure ALL of our life-choices remain, because being paid, armed instruments of the State anything less than transparent accountability results in abuse of power and ultimately – war crimes.

And so it follows that you, as an armed instrument of the State, your actions could result in State sanctioned murder which is attempting to stamp the ‘official seal of office’ on a #TransatlanticTyranny stretching from Westminster to The White House (& beyond).

It’s the very same tyranny that we should all have awoken to in 2003 with the illegal war for Iraq’s oil – and for the impending illegal war on Iran, not only for their oil too but to create the UK/US domestic pretext necessary to militarise the very same war that’s been waged on the UK working masses since 2008, through the deliberate State manipulation of mass-induced austerity-propaganda deprivation & depression, as another psychosocial engineering weapon deployed against the population – especially young men – in order to simultaneously create a self-sustaining, ‘Big Society’, cyclical ‘community-nation’ #PatrioticPoverty propaganda construct.

Because the war – domestic & foreign – are the same war. They always have been…
